Yuyue Medical plans to acquire 860 million yuan to acquire Shanghai Zhongyou Company
Yuyue Medical announced that the company intends to acquire 61.62% of the shares of Shanghai Zhongyou Pharmaceutical High-Tech Co., Ltd. for 860 million yuan. Upon completion of the transaction, the underlying company will become a subsidiary of Yuyue Medical Holdings and its financial statements will be included in the consolidated financial statements of the listed company. Yuyue Medical stock will resume trading on November 16.
According to the data, Zhongyou Medicine has been focusing on the research, development, production and sales of medical cleaning and disinfection, industrial cleaning and disinfection and personal care products since its establishment. It belongs to the subdivision of infectious disease prevention and control and infection control. The operating income of Zhongyou Pharmaceutical in 2014, 2015 and January-April 2016 was 251,141,500 yuan, 281,272,400 yuan and 10,136,380 yuan, mainly from hand and skin disinfection products, equipment and surface disinfection products, disinfection. Sales of supporting equipment and systems, of which hand and skin disinfection products accounted for about 75% of operating income.
