Make full use of your heterosis. Hybrid pigs obtained from crossbreeding of different breeds have stronger life ability than purebred parents. In the process of growing and finishing, they have good feeding, fast growth, strong disease resistance and short fattening cycle. A large number of tests confirmed that the use of binary crossbred pigs increased the daily weight gain by 15% to 20% compared to purebred pigs, and that the triad crossbred pigs increased about 25% compared to purebred pigs. At present, domestically used Changbai and Yorkshire hybrid sows, and then mated with Duroc, Pietrain or Hampshire boars to obtain the best three-way hybrid combination.

Iron supplements as early as possible. When piglets are born, they rely on breast milk and need 7 milligrams of iron per day. Piglets only receive 1 milligram of iron from breast milk. Piglets are often affected by iron deficiency anaemia during their growth and development. Therefore, iron supplements must be supplemented as early as possible. Normal piglet intramuscular injection of 1 ml of "ferritin" from 2 days to 3 days of age, the effect is better.

Increase the birth weight and weaning weight of piglets. The piglets have a large initial body size, indicating that the piglets have good growth and development during the fetal period. In the subsequent growth process, the body is robust, with less illness, good feeding, rapid weight gain, and severe weaning. According to tests, pigs with severe weaning weights have been shortened by 1 month to 2 months compared with the piglets with small weaning weight under the same feeding and management conditions.

Provide a suitable temperature and humidity environment. The piggery needs to control the temperature and humidity. If the temperature and humidity are too high, the feed intake of the pig will decrease and the daily gain will decrease. If the temperature is too low, the heat energy will be consumed, the feed intake will be high, and the feed payment will be low. Therefore, the suitable temperature range of the pig house should be controlled at 20 °C ~ 30 °C for piglets, 15 °C ~ 20 °C for pigs, and humidity should be controlled at 50% ~ 55%.

Provide plenty of clean drinking water. Water is an important material for pig growth and development. The amount of water consumed by pigs varies according to body weight, feed, and weather conditions. Generally, the body weight is large. The more dry the feed is, the higher the temperature is and the more water is consumed. The drinking water supplied must be sufficient and clean.

Feeding adopts "four changes". That is, the number of feedings, the time of feeding, the amount of feeding, and the feeding standards should be set, and the wet seasoning should be fed to pigs as dry powder. The number of feedings should be determined according to the pig's different growth stages. The piglets are generally fed 5 to 6 times a day, middle pigs 4 to 5 times and big pigs 3 times. The feeding time should be relatively fixed every day. The amount of feed must be balanced each time. Feeding standards should be based on the pig's body weight and growth stage, and different nutrient standards for feed formulations formulated. Feeds should be fed separately from the traditional feeding of wet mixes to water, which is beneficial to the digestion and absorption of pigs and increase the utilization of feed.

Reasonable breeding density. The pig's stocking density should be adjusted according to the size of the pig and different seasons. It is generally appropriate to use 0.8 to 1.0 square meter per pig. Three-month to four-month-old pigs need to account for 0.6 square meters, 4 months to 6 months old pigs need 0.8 square meters, 7 months to 8 months pigs need 1 square meter each . Big pigs generally occupy 1.1 to 1.2 square meters per pig in summer and 0.9 to 1.0 square meters in winter.

Implementation of the same nest breeding. Piglets from the birth to the finishing slaughter of the same littermate feeding, better than the piglets after weaning after transfer polyculture. Due to the reduction of stress stimuli, the daily gain can be increased by 7% to 8%, and the fattening period can be shortened by 20 days to 30 days.

Early castration was implemented. Castration can make the piglet calm and meek, increase appetite, and increase growth. The earlier the age of castration, the smaller the impact on the stress of the piglets, generally 20 days to 25 days of age is appropriate. According to the experiment, the piglets that are weaned after 60 days of age can be improved. The daily weight gain is 5%~6%, shortening the fattening period from 15 days to 20 days.

Timely prevention and deworming. For fattening pigs, we must strictly follow scientific procedures for the prevention and treatment of swine fever, swine erysipelas, and swine pneumonia, and ensure the health of pigs and the high efficiency of swine breeding.
