Choosing a good chicken
Good chickens can be cured, but bad chicks are difficult to maintain. High quality and healthy chickens are derived from the purification, nutrition, management and incubation techniques of the flock. Multiple diseases (respiratory syndrome, glandular gastritis, mycoplasma, colibacillosis, salmonella, etc.) can be transmitted vertically through egg species. Factors such as yolk inflammation, cord inflammation, and dehydration also directly affect the survival rate. How to choose chicken?
Look at the color: Under normal circumstances, the chick's hair is brown-red or gold-yellow. The deeper the color, the better the yolk absorption.
Look at the weight: The bigger the weight of the chicken out of the shell, the greater the weight in the later period.
Look at the absorption of yolk: If there are individual chickens with enlarged abdomen, there is no villi at the umbilicus, the umbilical cord is not broken, there is bloody water, and the anus has white lime-like excrement, which can be judged as unhealthy.
Improve the survival rate of brooding
1. The bigger the humidity in the first three days, the better, the relative humidity is preferably 80-85%, the first 4-6 days, the relative humidity is 60-65%, the humidity should be reduced after one week, and the ventilation should be strengthened to reduce the occurrence of coccidiosis. It must be remembered that "ventilation and ventilation is a treasure, no medicine can't be replaced" and poor ventilation is the root cause of all diseases.

For this reason, many experienced chicken farmers do not put chicks directly into the brooding cage. Instead, they hold their heads to peck their mouths in the water and teach all chickens to learn to drink water at the same time. This will increase uniformity. Is very important.
4. Don't hope to let every breeder farm hatch hatchlings that don't carry germs. It is impossible to do this. (The problems encountered by the chicks within a week are: umbilicitis, yolk phlegm, white peony, typhoid, paratyphoid Mycoplasma, E.coli, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, etc.). Since this is the case, disease prevention should be done as early as possible. Chicks should be treated according to the following principles: they should not be used for drugs that damage the kidney (such as streptomycin, Qingda, Kana, etc.).
