The suitable temperature for wound healing after thermal grafting is about 25°C. Ventilation can begin when the grafted seedlings begin to grow 3–5 days after ventilation. After ventilation is started, attention should be paid to the observation of the seedlings, the occurrence of wilting, the timely spraying of shade, the stopping of ventilation, and the avoidance of loss caused by excessive ventilation or excessive time.

The germination of lateral buds competes with scions for nutrients, thus directly affecting the survival of scions.
