School cafeteria food safety special inspection

As summer approaches, the temperature continues to rise and various food safety incidents are prone to occur. In order to ensure food safety in the canteens of primary and secondary schools, a special inspection team consisting of Jinta County Food Safety Administration, Food and Drug Administration, Education Bureau and Industry and Commerce Bureau has conducted special inspections on the food safety of the primary and secondary schools and kindergarten canteens in the county.

The inspection team has inspected the facilities and equipment of the schools and kindergarten canteens, the health management system, and the completeness of the purchase invoices, whether the tableware disinfection, sample management is standardized, and whether the food service workers have health certificates. During the inspection, the schools in the cafeteria had a good overall food safety status. They gave opinions on the hidden problems of food safety in some schools and kindergartens, and asked the person in charge of the cafeteria to rectify immediately according to the contents of the submissions. The supervision further clarified the school principal’s sense of responsibility for the first person responsible for food safety in the school canteen and strictly guarded against food poisoning incidents.
