Recently, researchers at the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University have successfully developed a diagnostic gene for diabetes, which can be diagnosed with mitochondrial diabetes within one day. At the same time, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University has also become the first hospital in China to screen for diabetes diagnosis of DNA diagnostic chip.
The study was completed by a research team led by Zhou Xin, a professor at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. Professor Zhou Xin introduced that the gene chip has been successfully developed in four years and will be put into production next year. Screening for people with diabetes, high-risk groups, and healthy people through high-quality gene chips can help clinical diagnosis and classification.
