Increased production measures for comprehensive management of mature banyan trees

1. Trimming is based on the principle of “trimming trees and shaping them with branches” to carry out tree transformation. First of all, remove the overlapping, densely crowded, intersecting branchlets, leaving azimuths, and growing branches that are well-balanced and do not affect each other. In order to take care of the yield and restore the tree vigor, some large branches are taken year by year to remove them, that is, remove 1 to 3 in the first year, and retract the remaining large branches to control their growth and temporarily retain the results. The second and third years will continue to be transformed.

In the first year, sparse branches and weakened branches were removed, and strong branches with branching were selected for retraction. The long, non-flowering branches were retracted as far as possible to make the branches firm and compact. The sparse shoots on the outer periphery of the tree crown were sparse, leaving fresh buds (red) fresh branches, concentrated nutrition, restoration of tree vigor and increased fruit setting rate.

In the following years, we will continue to fine-tune the relationship between adjusting growth and results: 1 Remove dense branches, weak branches, redundant branches, try to retract and renew, and make the branches compact, promote growth, and form robust vegetative branches. 2 Robust branches should be lightly cut and slowed to promote the formation of robust fruiting branches (branches). 3 Lengthy result branches should be appropriately retracted to increase fruit setting rate and ensure good fruit. This will not only ensure the growth of the whole tree group, but also ensure the formation of sufficient squid, but also ensure that the results of the year high quality and high yield.

2. Scrape the skin. In the early spring (March or early April), the skin is scraped and burned to remove the old cracked skin on the trunk and large branches. The pests in the potential old warts such as Pyrosphaeridae, leaf curl insects, star caterpillars, and red spiders are eliminated. After the first year of scraping, it must be separated every 1 to 2 years before scraping, so that the latent buds can be broken out to form leggy branches and the canopy can be renewed or cultivated. Otherwise, continuous scraping will destroy the buds and can not send sticks.

3. Shaving the tree tray. Each year (in the spring season, during the spring season), 1 or 3 shavings are carried out to loosen the soil, remove roots and improve soil aeration, moisture and nutrient status. In combination with earth-cultivation, the soil and water conservation project was built, and a tree tray for storing water in the mouth was made.

4. Fertilizer before flowering. 15-20 days before flowering, radial fertilization method is used to start the application of 2 kg of ammonium bicarbonate for two years, and then about 4.5 kg of chemical fertilizer is applied every year (1 kg of ammonium bicarbonate plus 3.5 kg of ammonium superphosphate) .

5. Flowering gibberellin. Spray at the end of May and early June to preserve the fruit. One g of refined gibberellin produced in Shanghai is soaked with 5 to 10 g of alcohol, and 20 kg of water or 50 ppm of gibberellic acid is sprayed on the canopy.

6. Root dressing outside. From the end of June to August, outside the root dressing 3 to 5 times, once every 10 to 15 days spray once 0.3 to 0.5% of urea, in August spray one or two times 0.3% of potassium dihydrogen phosphate .

7. Pressure green manure. During the rainy season or from July to August, under the canopy projection, a 0.5-meter-digging and 0.5-meter-wide fertigation trench is used to cut wild weeds. A layer of grass is buried under layers of soil and the soil is raised slightly above the ground. Each piece of green manure 50 to 100 kg.

8. According to the occurrence of pests and diseases in a timely manner.
